Join Kelly for meditation practice on Wednesday mornings from 9:00-10:15AM CT online via Zoom. The Quiet Mind, Open Heart meditation class offers a safe and healing community space where practitioners gather online to find refuge in meditation and connection with each other. The next Quiet Mind, Open Heart morning meditation series will be held on Wednesday mornings January 29, 2025 through May 28, 2025. Kelly is a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, Meditation Teacher, Yoga Teacher, and Safe and Sound Protocol Provider. Her meditative journey began more than 25 years ago and has woven together many different healing modalities and spiritual practices. Having received extensive education and training Counseling Psychology, Somatic Experiencing®, Tibetan Buddhism, and Classical Indian Yoga, Kelly has found a wonderful integration of deep practice and study realized in the context of everyday life. Her work centers around helping students and clients find safety and self-compassion as a foundation for healing body, heart, and mind.
All of the spiritual teachings she has received have culminated in one primary lesson: how to live in the world with an open heart. Her spiritual practice is inextricably connected to her daily life, as she brings together her roles of mother, meditation teacher, yoga teacher, and Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner. She’s found that the Buddhist teachings have provided an essential guide for how to live an authentic and meaningful life. She actively shares these teachings with those around her, through embodying them in her life as well as through teaching classes at Be Well in Austin, Texas and online.
