ABOUT KELLY AND CAMILLA

Kelly Lindsey
Mind-Body Therapist, Meditation Teacher, Mother

Kelly’s deep love for meditation began 25 years ago and her practice has been guided by many remarkable spiritual teachers. Her experience with grief and loss inspired her journey into the counseling profession and a deep dive into Buddhist and Yogic studies. Kelly is a meditation teacher and somatic psychotherapist in private practice. She feels passionate about helping to facilitate a meditative journey for others and sharing the practice of meditation in an informed and inspired way. Kelly’s warm, open-hearted presence invites students to more deeply explore their own path of awakening.

Camilla Figueroa
Mind-Body Therapist, Yoga Teacher, Mother

Camilla Figueroa is the founder of Dharma Yoga Therapy and was the co-director of Dharma Yoga Austin for more than a decade. Earning a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work in 1999, Camilla began integrating the somatic aspects of yoga and meditation as a therapist with survivors of trauma in Austin’s Safe Place. Her experiences as a first-generation American, mother, Peace Corps volunteer, and somatic therapist deeply infuse her yoga classes with the empowering and healing aspects of Buddhist meditation, neuroscience, and yoga asana. She has been practicing yoga for twenty-five years, teaching for fifteen, and holds over a thousand hours of certification in Dharma Yoga, Thai Massage, and Yoga Therapy. REFLECTIONS

Here are some of our favorite memories from the retreat last June:

Waking daily to a troupe of Howler Monkeys eating mangoes outside our windows.

Swimming in the warm, coastal waters of Playa Guiones at low-tide.

Opening our hearts and minds with Kelly's guided meditations.

Rediscovering who we are once all the external stresses of the world have been melted from our body-mind.

Nourishing the body with healthy, organic and locally-sourced meals.

Cultivating deep and lasting friendships within our sangha.

Rejuvinating with Camilla's afternoon yoga and shaking meditation practices.

Adventuring with hikes, surfing, and horseback riding through the tropical rainforest and beaches.

Hiking to nearby Rosada Beach, a one-of-a-kind rose quartz beach only accessible at low-tide.

Dancing freely on the sand and in the Sky Mind studio.

Travel, Additional Information & FAQ’s

ABOUT COSTA RICA

While it may seem remote, Costa Rica is easily accessible from the United States and Canada. Costa Rica has not only become known for its spectacular nature, bio-diversity, and ecological tourism, but also as a country whose values reflect many of the ideals embraced by those of us interested in world peace, environmental preservation, excellent education, and a high standard of health care. It is unique in Central America as it has the longest uninterrupted democracy, no standing army in more than 50 years, and a 95% literacy rate.

BLUE ZONE®

Blue Spirit lives in one of the world’s five Blue Zones®: Nosara, on the Nicoya Peninsula. Blue Zones® are recognized areas where people live the longest and report the highest levels of wellbeing.

ABOUT NOSARA

In the last 10-years Nosara has grown quietly into one of the hip holistic hot-spots on the planet. Nestled along the coast with 3 unspoiled stunning beaches protected as a turtle refuge – Playa Guiones, Playa Pelada, and Playa Nosara – this peaceful and vibrant international community of nature lovers, surfers, yogis, and families truly embraces the Costa Rican ‘Pura Vida’ lifestyle.

TRAVEL TO BLUE SPIRIT

Blue Spirit takes care of all of the details regarding shuttle transfers between Blue Spirit and the different airports in Costa Rica. The two international airports in Costa Rica are: Liberia International Airport (LIR) and San Jose International Airport (SJO).
